Actus can earn a 100% interest in six (6) mining claims known as the Kayla Property located in Levy Township, Abitibi Region of Quebec. It is located 45 km west of the Town of Chibougamou and 1 km southwest of the Town of Chapais in Abitibi, Quebec. It covers a surface area of 78.73 hectares. The property is accessible using Highway 113 which bisects the central portion of the claim group.
Over the years, various exploration programs were carried out on the Kayla Property. From 1950 to 1956 area mines have carried out several exploration works (geophysical, geological and geochemical surveys) followed by diamond drilling with most significant intersections of 1.67 oz/t Ag and 0.05 oz/t Au over 0.40 ft; 16.5% Cu and 4.1% Zn over 3.00 ft; 2.04 oz/t Ag and 2.6% Pb over 1.6 ft; 3.6% Zn over 2.00 ft; 1.7% Cu over 3.6 ft. and 2.7% Zn over 1.3 ft.
Massive sulphide veins and/or stringers of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and sphalérite with generally 1-3% sulphides were identified.
In September 2010, the Company engaged Ram Exploration Ltd. to conduct a compilation and geologic map of the Kayla Project. The results of this exercise are expected the end of May 2011.
There are no known environmental concerns or land claim issues pending with respect to the Kayla Property.
The Casa Berardi project is composed of two sections
1 - The Casa Berardi Property
The Company has optioned the initial property from Beaufield Resources Ltd., to earn a 50% interest in 141 claims held in 2 separate claim blocks known as the Casa Berardi project in Quebec. The option calls for the issuance of 1,200,000 common shares and incur $650,000 in exploration expenditures over a three (3) year period. This portion of the project covers an area of 7,918 hectares and is contiguous to a number of Aurizon Mine's claims. The company is currently reviewing available data and is planning a summer exploration program.
2 - Casa Berardi - Golden Knight
Actus has recently announced the signature of an option to earn a 75% interest Agreement with AntOro Resources. This contract calls for Actus to issue 500,000 common shares over two (2) years and to expend more than $150,000 in exploration over the same period. This property covers 578.76 hectares and is immediately contiguous and to the south of Aurizon Mines.
The exploration work on the Casa Berardi project will be done simultaneously on both Casa Berardi properties. Initially an airborne geophysics survey will be flown over the whole property in an effort to identify interesting geophysical anomalies which will then be subject to more traditional ground geological surveys.
